Why solar?
What hooked me wasn't the technology. It was the math. The day I sat down and modelled what twenty years of utility bills actually adds up to — and then ran the same money through panels you own — the gap was so wide I couldn't stop thinking about it. Most homeowners I talk to have never seen that math laid out. Once they do, the decision tends to make itself. My job is just to put the numbers honestly in front of them.

What I tell nervous customers.
The first thing I say is: there is no urgency. Solar will still be here next month, and so will I. Most nervousness comes from being rushed, so the cure is to slow down. I ask what specifically is making them hesitate — financing, hardware, the install, the company. Then we work through that one thing. If it's still a wall after we've talked it through, we don't proceed. That's a feature, not a bug.

An install I'm proud of.
A young family in Edmonton — first house, tight budget, second baby on the way. Three other reps had quoted them systems they couldn't actually carry. I built them a smaller system on the Financeit 0% term so the monthly was lower than what they were paying EPCOR. Year one their bill went to twenty bucks. The dad emailed me a photo of the meter. That's the install I think about.
