Why solar?
I'm patient by nature, and solar rewards patience. Most homeowners I work with need months — not days — to get comfortable with a decision this size. I treat that as the normal pace, not the slow pace. The customers who take eight months to sign with me are usually the ones who refer the most neighbours, because they made a clear-eyed decision and they remember how it was made.

What I tell nervous customers.
I tell them solar will still be here next month. I mean it. There is no version of this where rushing helps. Some of my best customers told me no on call one, no on call two, and signed on call seven. The slow yes is more durable than the fast yes. I'd rather wait six months for a confident customer than close one who's going to second-guess the decision in year three.

An install I'm proud of.
A semi-retired couple in Okotoks who took eight months and seven phone calls before they were ready. Not because I was pushing — because they weren't ready. When they were, the install went in within six weeks. I was at the final walk-through. The wife said it was the first contracting experience of her life where she felt like a person, not a target. That's the install I bring up.
